In case anyone has missed it: there's a new kellychambliss story up: In Its Deepest Being.

It's a Poppy / Narcissa story (yes, that's the pairing) and it's one of those gems in which every word is just so. Poppy's internal monologue is a masterpiece, and at the end you still don't know whether she's right in condemning herself or in justifying.

Exquisite.

If only I could hope that one day I'd be able to produce something like that.

Instead, I'll just wax lyrical in my recs.

(Or you could put a sock in it and let people read the story.)

Thanks for the lovely words. But the thing is, I waffle. I babble. What Kelly does here - getting every word just so, this level of descriptions - I can't. And I wish I could. But I'll go on waffling, no fear.

Kells' story is indeed her usual masterful foray into the forbidden - subtle in its evaluations of the human condition. However, Madam TRS, aspersions concerning your own scribing skills shall NOT be tolerated. They have no basis - none. I laud the works each of you has written and consider it my honor to have the privilege of reading them. So there....
