In case anyone has missed it: there's a new kellychambliss story up: In Its Deepest Being.

It's a Poppy / Narcissa story (yes, that's the pairing) and it's one of those gems in which every word is just so. Poppy's internal monologue is a masterpiece, and at the end you still don't know whether she's right in condemning herself or in justifying.

Exquisite.

If only I could hope that one day I'd be able to produce something like that.

Instead, I'll just wax lyrical in my recs.

(Or you could put a sock in it and let people read the story.)

Kells' story is indeed her usual masterful foray into the forbidden - subtle in its evaluations of the human condition. However, Madam TRS, aspersions concerning your own scribing skills shall NOT be tolerated. They have no basis - none. I laud the works each of you has written and consider it my honor to have the privilege of reading them. So there.... Thanks for the lovely words. But the thing is, I waffle. I babble. What Kelly does here - getting every word just so, this level of descriptions - I can't. And I wish I could. But I'll go on waffling, no fear.

Oh, dear. Low-flying petulant poetess on the warpath. By the way, Kelly told me there's a new chapter in the making. Now there's news to cheer the heart.
