I've not exactly been posting a lot lately, but that's mostly because life is full of work. Good from a business point of view, but boring. I work, I read your posts, I comment, and that's it.

Currently I'm in the middle of a three-day cramming course. Day one is completed, and I can't wait for Sunday evening, when I wave the little dunderheads goodbye. They're a nice lot, though. They work hard, are extremely polite, and do whatever is in their power. Their very limited power, alas. Still, one must hope for the best.

A quick and appropriate drive-by rec: Watch Teaching!Snape. I found it an incredibly funny take on Snape, and with each hour I spend in my classroom, I find it a bit more appropriate.

And a great one for the OLSB: a marvellous take on Rolanda and Aurora, by the fabulous Musyc. Sunrise Promises. A short, beautifully-written slice-of-life tale with some great bodies and two wicked minds.

I hope to be back soon with something more interesting!

That Snape cartoon is hilarious. Just the idea of Snape saying "yippeekayay" makes me laugh. And Hermione not knowing her Douglas Adams -- ha! And Hello Kitty.

I'm glad you're having a lot of dunderheads lucrative work, but we miss you!

Enjoy your spring break. I'm not envious, not at all. Really.

I adored Snape's Hello Kitty. And I just may say 'yippeekayay' myself on Sunday. In a restrained, Snapely way, of course.

Good from a business point of view, but boring. I feel your pain. Why, O Lord, must ladies of good breeding and superior intelligence and wit toil in the coalmines of various unworthy enterprises to earn their daily bread?

I admire anyone who can teach without resorting to killing one's students. I don't know how teachers these days manage without corporal punishment.

The Snape animation is a hoot!

Ha ha, great, Snape's cartoon. A nice evil Snape.

Sounds like your business is running great, but how sad that the good things always have their downside. Hopefully you'll soon have a nice holiday or so!

Things will ease up end of April / early May. Which sounds quite a long time off, right now. But by then I'll be back posting!

I work, I read your posts, I comment, and that's it. I was about to say, 'been there, done that', but actually it's more like 'AM there, doing that'. :-P

Oh my . . . the Snape cartoon . . . I can sooooo relate!

I am glad business is so good, but I will rejoice with you when you get bit of a break. ::hugs::

Just think - April/May will be so much sweeter when you look back on all your successful work of February and March! :-)

Your brilliant title made me think back to my youth when I had a job fitting children's shoes. An odious task, filled with little dunderheads that kicked you in the head/ate the crayons/left a puddle etc... When they wiggled in their seat too much we had the express permission of Big Chief Shoe-fitter (a member of OLSB if ever there was one) to nip their heels to keep their feet on the measurer. A sure way to quiet them once and for all! Did I mention I was sorted into Slytherin on Pottermore?

Looking forward to more of your excellent writing when work calms down for you. Xx

Love the notion of heel nipping. If it didn't involve close proximity to their adolescent feet ,that I'd have to peel out of their Uggs first, I'd try it. (Never was footwear more aptly named than Uggs.)

Your foot shop experiences sound delightful, oh fellow Slytherin.

Glad to hear business is booming, at least. (: Hope you have some time for some fun fandom pursuits soon. (I loved that comic when I saw it - hilarious! Giggled myself silly over the Hello Kitty and Hermione not knowing her Douglas Adams.) Keep well and return to us soon! (; ♥

This afternoon I'll have an afternoon off. But it'll be busy for a bit longer; thank heavens, of course, since I'm self-employed.

Thank you for the link to Slinker's animation; it was a while since I'd seen anything by her. (And ignorant of me, I'd never heard about the 42!) The Hello Kitty poster was priceless.
