I love these shots! Did you go with Lord S? I'd love to see this building. (I've just finished reading a chapter on it in a book on the architecture along Chang'An Avenue more generally.)

Thank you for remembering, and thank you for the well wishes. R and I had a lovely weekend--lots of food, lots of conversations with friends, and a cake with some neighbors (all sitting at least six feet away at all times) in the grassy area behind our apartment building. Doesn't get much better than that, does it? M.

No, I didn't join him, it was a photography trip to the Chinese desert and the rainbow mountains, but espeially the desert.

A bit of time in Beijing was thrown in, and I knew, going over the pics, that this building would be to your taste.
