A Fabulous Muriel Fic

On the plus side, there's a great story up at minerva_fest.

On the down side, it's the final entry.

But still. A fab story is a fab story. And ... [insert drum rolls] ... it's Minerva / Muriel.

I think I still hold the record for Muriel fics by one single author on FF net, so I can't tell you how happy I am to see another one join the ranks.

Go over and read Twenty-one Years. It's another take on the day Minerva spent at Privet Drive 4, and it's an excellent one.

The poetry in the language is great (despite one or two minor typos and errors; the author must have ignored Deputy Headmistress Chambliss, more's the pity). But never mind the errors, the overall effect is wonderful. Great language. Perfectly IC character. Canon-compliant, but with just the kind of twist the OLSB loves.

It's the perfect end to a wonderful fest. Thank you, dear Mystery Author, and thank you, dear kellychambliss, for running the fest.
