In just a few days, Beholder 2013 will start posting, and I can barely contain myself.
I've had a hellishly busy teaching week and this week will be a madhouse, too. Today I only have one lesson to give, so today is devoted to some small household tasks, over which I'm currently procrastinating.
The busy teaching didn't leave any time for fun events or post-worthy things, so to keep up the once-a-week posting rhythm, I've thought of a fun little meme. Recs of my all-time-favourite Beholder stories.
To limit myself, and to make it more fun, I've decided to do only one per author, only one per main character, and only those rare characters that are the joy and delight of
hp_beholder, for what I love most about the fest is the way in which little-known, hardly-written characters are explored and turned into three-dimensional creations. So for this list I didn't even use our OLSB stalwarts, but those characters I really discovered through Beholder.
