Snowflake Challenge Day 5

Skipping a few days, but then there's nothing in the rules that says you can't.

Today's challenge is In your own space, talk about a creator. Show us why you think they are amazing.

The specification was I guess I kind of said it already in my mod intro, but my favorite thing about fandom is the people in it, and they way we're all connected because we love our very different things in kind of the same way. Today is about celebrating people who are creating things in your fandom - icons, podfics, stories, art, picspams, meta, organizing challenges, setting up watch parties, whatever.

One of those people in my corner of the fandom is magnetic_pole. She has been the instigator of beholder_plus in which we all discussed fascinating things about the annual hp_beholder exchange.

And she runs the annual lgbtq_recs, always a fun event with lots of great reading ideas.

Then there was the hbpchallenge in which we fixed the various plotholes and odd moments in the HBP movie.

In short, Maggie is a fountain of creative ideas, and I love that she takes the time and effort to share them with all of us.

Great choice! You've reminded me of all the hours of fandom fun I've had courtesy of Maggie -- both her mini-HP movie fests (I loved writing for both of them), and LGBTQ recs (the highlight of my June), and I'm hopeful we can bring back beholder_plus when that fine fest starts again.
