hp_beholder gift has been posted, and I'm simply ecstatic. It's a brilliant story, written from Minerva's point of view - written by the Headmistress, rather; it's so perfectly her voice.
In her own, inimitable, dry way, she tells about her relationship with Amelia Bones, her life-long friendship with Myrtle, and she throws in both fascinating information of the Wizarding world and the most delicious gossip. (Rolanda and Griselda? In the Prefect's bath?)
It's a gem of a story and one of the highlights of the fest. This story will certainly come back to haunt me. Go read it now: Come Back to Haunt You.
