According to a NASA clip I saw the other day the Maya never predicted the end of the world, it's just the end of the calendar and an important date because of that. And if they're wrong - perhaps we then all get to some cool otherworld and can meet our favourite fictional characters? *goes checking her outfit*

That cartoon is absolutely fantastic! So true! And as some of us have been saying: If the Mayans were so good at "predicting," then how did they miss predicting their own demise?

I knew 2012 would be an epochal year, but I didn't figure it would take place the day before the "end of the world," or in the manner such change manifested itself.

I'm glad I met you in 2012, but other than that it's been a rather crummy year! :) I know better things await in 2013!
