I'm slowly catching up on the fabulous
hp_friendship fest, and here's one story you've not all read yet, judging from the comments. Probably because it's 10K. But hop over now, my dears, for it's the jolliest 10K in the world.
I don't know what's more fun: the perfect period-feel of the piece, the play on boarding-school-story tropes, or the dazzling array of HP characters who make their appearance in this AU.
Not to forget the delectable descriptions of the Misses Hooch, Sprout, and, above all, McGonagall. The young heroine of the story isn't the only one with a Major Crush. And as to Grubbly-Plank, or GP, as she prefers to be called ... be still, my heart.
This is exactly what we've all wanted for years: a boarding school story that focusses on the staff room.
So don't linger here, go and read it. You'll love it. Raven's Honour.
