The flying horses link to the Terry Pratchett interest. Pratchet is a fantasy-writer. The picture in question is based on one of his books that star Death. A great (albeit thinnish) chap who can wield a scythe like nobody's business, and who tries to develop a sense of humour, too. And he has a marvelous SEPULCHRAL, INSTANTLY RECOGNIZABLE voice. In one of the books he has to save the world, so he mounts his pale horse (called Binky) and looks up his cronies from way back when the Horsemen were still going strong. Unfortunately, War is now married and Mrs War doesn't hold with riding, Pestilence prefers the quiet life and Famine would rather play a round of cards... In short, the four Horseman of the Apocalypse, Discworld-style.
