Three Quick Recs

There's a very busy week ahead, and I shouldn't be rec'cing, I should be prepping my lessons. But it's October Recs and it's minerva_fest. The Headmistress and her friends deserve their applause.

Minerva's Day Out is a lovely piece of art. It has exactly the Minerva I love, with a tight, black bun and square glasses. The details are delightful, both from an artistic point of view and from an "I want that day out myself!" point of view.

Sunday Afternoon in the Staff Room is procrastinator's heaven. You can watch this for hours and hours and still find new details. So many teachers to find, and each just so, and all the details of the staff room are perfect.

And the last one: an excellent artist has embarked on a project that seems to be (it's still ungoing) all the teachers of Hogwarts, or perhaps all the friends of Minerva. Each portrait is in a beautiful frame, it's clearly a series, yet each one is very distinctive and each has their own attributes. And I haven't even read the Irma/Minerva story yet. Plus, there's another week of Minerva Marvels ahead. Oh, I do love October.
