Notre Dame de Paris is on fire! The images are so devastating. This masterpiece will be lost. I can't believe it. I can't believe what I'm seeing.

Oh this is sooo sad! But a lot is possible in way of rebuilding (most German cathedrals have been a heap of rubble after the war and one cannot tell today)….
the beautiful organ one of my favourite organ-Composers Vierne worked at almost all his life (he died playing it), is not, though - I could cry!!

It seems the organ may be saved, or at least saveable. Let's hope so. Still, the things that have been lost ...

Yes, S. sent me a WhatsApp-text she got from an organ-community: it also says that the big organ Looks not too badly hurt, only the small one in the Choir-section is destroyed by the water.
This is such a wonder!
