Well, that's an easy one, I thought when I pressed the button.
Damn, why do I always forget I'm a Libra?
I mean, obviously I would hang out spend a very pleasant day with Minerva McGonagall Willa Grubbly-Plank , since seeing [livejournal.com profile] tetleythesecond's new icon Amelia Bones .

This is ridiculous.

I can make choices, of course I can. I'm a mature responsible adult who can choose.

Rolanda Hooch. No. She's the sportive kind. I'm so not.
Irma Pince. Can do my own cinnamon-nutella cake if I want to.

I can do this. Definitely either Minerva McGonagall or Willa Grubbly-Plank.

Tartan or white shirt, that's the question.
Tartan.
White Shirt.

Or ... brilliant idea ... as one of my flisties said, "Why choose at all? Minerva on top, Willa in the middle, my sweet self ...
Positions are negotiable.

See? I'm good at choices.

Great - a history question. Well, the first memorable event was when I was three, going on four. Assorted adults -- my parents, an uncle and aunt who didn't have television, some others -- were gathered around our telly, and it was going to be terribly important and wonderful. Not so, of course: lots of adults talking and talking, in a foreign language, too. [Completely irrelevant aside: adults are often devious to the point of lying. I mean, if an eight-year-old starts on a book called A Doll's House she's allowed to presume that it is about a doll's house, right? Not so.]
In the end, the thing did get better. A man in funny clothes with a strange sort of helmet came out of a thingummy and started walking - or rather, bouncing - in a hilarious manner.
I wanted to walk like that, too. My father, very knowledgeable on all sorts of subjects, told me that the man was walking on the moon.
It seemed like a nice thing to do, but I was told that it was only for adults.
I'm an adult now, but I did not turn out to be another Neil Armstrong.

[Error: unknown template qotd]Prisoner of Azkaban. Well-constructed, lots of lovely detail. I like the Womping Willow, I feel like that myself, sometimes. And I like Rosmerta's pub. And Lupin gives interesting lessons.
And it gives a much deeper insight in Snape and in those dratted Marauders. Unpleasant little bullies.

But most of all, it contains the unforgettable words: "TRIPE, SYBILL?"
